SANDY

Sandy started taking dance and theatre classes when she was in elementary school and it soon grew into her passion. She studied Theatre Arts and Political Science in her undergrad. During that time she taught dance classes and choreographed. Her four years of study culminated with a senior project that drew from both of her majors: a one woman show entitled Our Story to Learn: A Kinesthetic Response to Homelessness. Sandy wanted to learn more about advocacy and nonprofit management so she studied Public Administration at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and graduated with her master’s degree in 2023. Sandy is a teaching artist for Tippi Toes, heARTbeat, and The Coterie Theatre and works in the Box Office at Music Theatre Heritage. Sandy is over the moon to now be a KC Canary and have the opportunity to perform alongside so many vibrant and talented dancers!
